It’s time for an independent voice on the Windsor Town Council. After years of pandemic, wildfires, and grievous scandal, we must return Windsor’s reputation to the family friendly, respectable place that we know we are. I approach each issue our town faces on its own merits and from a holistic perspective, and will work for a collegial and inviting atmosphere amongst my colleagues and the public in council meetings.
I currently serve on the Town of Windsor Planning Commission, and on the Sonoma County Commission on the Status of Women. I have been a Town of Windsor Park and Recreation Commissioner, and I was elected to Clearlake City Council many years ago. This public service experience has prepared me to hit the ground running as your District 1 Windsor Town Councilmember.
My commitment as councilmember is to listen carefully and seek input when making tough decisions. All of our neighborhoods must be considered as we face challenges from homelessness, affordable housing, public safety, threat of wildfire and climate change, budget deficits, and aging municipal infrastructure. I understand that we must keep the short, mid, and long term goals and vision for our town in mind as we navigate these modern challenges.
